Dear Friends,
What a wonderful two weeks: Suzanne accompanied me to a YWAM base (Rancho Abierto) south of Ensenada where we were able to minister to 13 families; eight nationalities, who together had 50 (FIFTY) children. This is a family DTS and I had the joy and privilege of encouraging them to hear God's voice and providing them with some practical tools.
I have taught on this topic many times. But this time was special in that I felt the Lord dropping thoughts and concepts into my mind that were so powerful and new to me. I felt like taking notes!!!
The group was magnificently responsive. We had many opportunities to minister to the students after class time, during meals and up to the last moment before we needed to head out.
We were home by Friday evening. This gave me just enough time to get ready to leave for Mexico again on Sunday. This time I was with a group from Oregon who came to build a classroom for some middle school students. A wonderful team made up of six young people and three adults.
The company we rent from asked me to pick up a van that had had some body and upholstery work done to it. I met with the young couple who were doing the finishing touches. What a joy to be able to steer the conversation towards the Lord and to be able to lead the couple and the husband's mother to a new life in the Kingdom. Again I thank you for your partnership in this ministry. For your prayers for me and the mission I'm involved in. And once again I thank God for giving me the ability to speak Spanish.
Israel is next. The time has come. Bill Sopher and I will be flying out on Thursday. We go in obedience to what we feel the Lord is asking us to do. We have no agenda but we do have a strong desire to be there in identification with the people who are caught up in this conflict. We plan to fly home on the 17th of May.
Please keep us in prayer. Please communicate any thoughts, words, visions, impressions, etc. That the Lord may pop into your mind.
God bless you

The family home 2023
Nicolasa and family - January 2017
April 12, 2020 -- We were saddened to learn that Nicolasa passed away earlier this year; her family is still living in the house.
From Asher:
I first met Nicolass because she was being ministered to by a nurse (Angelina) at the Orphanage (Foundation For His Ministry). Angelina had been bringing food and hygiene supplies to Nicolass and her family for more than three years. We first stepped in to repair the roof of the shack she was living in and then we were asked if we would build for her, and that's when you stepped in...Thank You Jesus!
In her quiet and unassuming way Nicolasa provided a safe place for her family. Thank you again for serving her. You went above and beyond by first building and then paying off her land and helping her get birth certificates for her children.
